EPS founder John Dorsey had the vision to develop a way to “Give Back”. That vision resulted in the “Every Credit Card Counts” and “Merchants with a Mission” campaigns.
After several telephone conversations, John Dorsey and Larry Stuart traveled to Fort Worth to meet with Dr. Shelton and the rest of the Board of the Airpower Foundation to present “Every Credit Card Swipe Counts”.
The premise is simple: EPS will meet the credit card rates the Airpower Foundation is already paying and donate a percentage of the processing profits back to the Foundation every month. In addition, for any business owner paying credit card fees, EPS will meet whatever fees they are already paying, and donate a percentage of those processing profits back to the Airpower Foundation as well.
EPS will make those donations each and every month as long as the business owner is processing with EPS.
Along with the donation of monthly credit card processing profits, the presentation of a $30,000 check to the Airpower Foundation was presented at the “Star Power” fundraising event. This event is one of many raising funds for the Airpower Foundation’s upcoming Sky Ball. Visit their website for detailed information about the Sky Ball, and the Medal of Honor dinner–which EPS will be attending.
